Actress Pithon looks to Conquer art world

Actress Emily Pithon, who is starring as Ruth in The Norman Conquests, is also an artist when she is not treading the boards and currently has an exhibition of her work on at The Corke Gallery in Aigburth.
Emily has been acting for 14 years and cartooning almost two years. Her cartoon work primarily is inspired by her experience as an actor. She has exhibited at the Orange Tree Theatre in Richmond and will be exhibiting the same pieces and 15 new ones at Theatr Clwyd in Mold at the end of this year.

Emily has appeared at the Playhouse in All My Sons and Tartuffe and the Everyman in ‘Tis Pity She's a Whore and Anthology.
She is delighted to be here again with The Norman Conquests and below is a cartoon of actor Philip Cumbus in the play’s title role.

Ayckbourn describes Norman as a "gigolo trapped inside a haystack” which inspired this particular cartoon.
