Today we reached a pivotal milestone as Mayor of Liverpool Joe Anderson joined theatre chiefs, funders, builders Gilbert Ash and architects Haworth Tompkins on site to celebrate the ‘Topping Out’ of the new Everyman, where the main structure is completed. This major capital project remains on schedule and on budget with the main structure of the building now completed.
A team from the Theatres entered BBC2’s Eggheads quiz to try to beat the ‘Eggheads’ and win money towards the Everyone for the Everyman appeal for the new Everyman Theatre and Talent Fund.
Matthew Xia is the winner of this year’s Genesis Future Directors Award, a major prize established in 2012, created to nurture an emerging young director.
