Battersea Arts Centre
Creating a home for inventive, original companies, artists and theatre makers
Battersea Arts Centre work with artists and theatre makers to put on great shows and nurture new work. Somewhat kindred spirits with us (particularly the Everyman), their projects focus on working with young people and local community groups to encourage creativity and innovative ideas.
Their mission to inspire and shape the future of theatre by taking creative risks stretches far beyond the four walls of their beautiful old town hall. Battersea Arts Centre take productions on tour all over the world. We’ve been lucky to bring a few to Liverpool in recent years: Orpheus, Macbeth, Frankenstein: How to Make a Monster and Chekhov's First Play.
