Reclaiming space in the community to deliver a much-needed dose of festive cheer

With ever decreasing sales and the increasing negative profile of the Strand shopping area of Norris Green, we wanted to support the community in reclaiming the space.

In partnership with local providers and shop keepers, a one-day Christmas Fair was imagined, planned and executed.

More than 200 people flocked to the event with carol singing, craft activities, steaming Scouse, twinkling lights and a magical grotto.

Now an annual fixture, it attracts over 500 local community residents.
