Celebrating 10 years of unforgettable burlesque, drag and cabaret!
The Spare Rib is back for 2025 and celebrating 10 whole years of unforgettable burlesque and cabaret!
Join us in celebration of the past decade with an incredible line up featuring some of our favourite performances from over the years!
Shardeazy Afrodesiak is a Gender-Bending Drag King – this thought provoking drag artist uses their platform to express and deconstruct topics of race, gender and sexuality through music, dance and fierce AF lip syncing!
The bubblegum sweetheart of East London, a fierce fat queer with a love of entertaining – Nat Funni is host and co producer of some of London’s silliest cabaret & parties, East London drag competition royalty, international touring draglesque treasure, and all round non binary icon. An extremely silly & sexy clown; they’re Nat Funni, they’re Hilarious!
Alabama Whirley is a bold unapologetic performer and the creator of Glorified Cabaret – a groundbreaking and fat positive show celebrating plus size bodies. Alabama began performing to challenge beauty norms and champion inclusivity. Through Glorified and her performances Alabama invites audiences to revel in self-expression, desire and the power of taking up space.
High energy, high fun, high camp! Lacey Dream is Liverpool’s draglesque darling, exploding onto each stage with a whirlwind of purple sparkle. Since dancing onto the scene in 2018, Lacey has been mixing her tight lip-syncing skills with sassy stripteases… and she’s so very excited to see you.
Lady Blue Phoenix is an award winning international plus size, gender fluid, bisexual LGBTQIA and disabled burlesque performer who is a force of nature on stage with a helping of charisma and confidence not to be missed. You can always expect the unexpected when they’re performing as their acts range from homages to classic, lashings of neo alt rock burlesque, some skill based with their poi, and their political power house acts. You can be sure that this performer is one you won’t want to miss!
Meena Helvetia is Switzerland’s sauciest export. She is coming out of her current hiatus to celebrate Minxie and the Spare Rib! Influenced by her love of 1950s Mambo and mid-century Hollywood glamour her acts are always dance heavy and her outfits extra shiny.
Joining these incredible guest performers is The Spare Rib’s very own Minxie Coquette and Tilly Mint! This show will be Minxie’s farewell before handing over full reins to Tilly Mint after over 10 years of Spare Rib shows together – don’t miss out on their final performance! Tilly will be taking on a different role in this special show – performing alongside the rest of the incredible talent and handing over the hosting for one night only!
Ember Orchid is hosting this special show – a non binary international drag king sensation performing from Liverpool to San Francisco with their eclectic genre-bending performances.
