The Writers' Room

A free writers' space at the Everyman

The Writers’ Room

The Writers' Room is a quiet space where you can escape for a few hours to work on your current play, or dip into our extensive script library.

Whenever the Everyman is open, so is the Writers' Room.

If you'd like to book the room in advance, you can - or you can just turn up and drop into the space, as long as there isn’t a writing or play reading group in situ. Any groups that are booked in for that day will be written up on the door, so it’s easy to check.

The Writers' Room

If you would like to book time in the room in advance, or make an enquiry on behalf of a writing or play reading group, please email [email protected] and we will try to accommodate.

If you'd prefer just to drop in, you can find our opening time here.

Please note that scripts from the script library may not be taken out of the Writers’ Room.
