Mark Da Vanzo, Chief Executive

Mark Da Vanzo is CEO for the Everyman & Playhouse Theatres.

He joined the theatres in 2015 as Managing Director following his previous role as Deputy Chief Executive of Pitlochry Festival Theatre - one of Scotland’s most prolific building-based theatres.

He has also worked for Creative New Zealand (Arts Council of New Zealand) and the Walt Disney Company in London. A Board Member for Liverpool BID Company, Mark is a Steering Group Member for Inc Arts’ Arts Against Racism and She Leads for Legacy.

Originally from New Zealand, Mark trained in theatre and has devoted his career to creative leadership roles in which he can create equitable, safe, diverse and resilient environments where the arts can flourish.
