YEP Directors' Festival: All Over Lovely

As the old saying goes, “the best mirror of yourself is seen through an old friend”. So when two ‘friends’ meet following the death of a loved one, the reflection they see is a stark reminder of the people they once were and the values they once held.

What follows is the revelation of childhood jealousy, coupled with unspoken regret and decisions that have since haunted their lives.

All Over Lovely sparks a politicised, personal and often cynical conversation about what lesbianism and feminism means in an unapologetically, patriarchal world. And the result? A moving and honest account from two estranged lovers.
