Free Workshop at the Everyman

There are many opportunities for actors to use their skills in a range of different contexts from youth projects, theatre in education to working in schools delivering workshops.
Emma Bramley has over 25 years experience working as a freelance Drama for Learning Practitioner in a wide range of contexts and is an approved trainer in Mantle of the Expert. All Things Considered use these techniques in the participatory phases of creating their socially engaged work.
This workshop is for those actors who would like to explore, develop and hone their facilitation skills to create immersive, challenging and creative spaces for participants. We will be using an educational/drama for learning focus for the workshop however the skills, techniques and models are transferable to a wide range of settings.
The workshop will explore:
• Hooking participants in
• Meaningful questioning
• Structuring and using drama based techniques to explore themes
• Facilitating and working in participatory creative spaces
