YEP chosen to receive donation from Co-op
Every year Co-op members choose three local charities to support. We are delighted that Young Everyman Playhouse was one of the three chosen in celebration of its 10th year.
Since its launch in 2012, YEP has helped dozens of young actors, writers, directors, producers, technicians, and marketers make their mark in the arts. YEP provides free opportunities for those aged 14-25 and empowers young people to be themselves, take risks and inspire them to become cultural leaders of the future; with many alumni going on to work on stage and screen productions around the globe.
YEP practices Co-op’s brand values of improving mental wellbeing, giving young people access to opportunities and a chance to be heard. Co-op members have allocated YEP a brilliant £1,296.58.
These funds will help us to continue to provide opportunities for young people to experience theatre.
Thanks to Co-op and its members for the generous donation to help us continue our work.
