Pride on the Page shared reading

LGBTQIA+ Shared Reading in partnership with The Reader

Everyman Theatre (Thursdays 6-7pm)

At Shared Reading groups people talk, connect, and share experiences using stories and poems from the LGBTQIA+ experience. There is no pressure to talk or read aloud.

Following on from the taster sessions in June at the Everyman, we will be running regular sessions for an LGBTQIA+ Shared Reading group, Pride on the Page, in partnership with The Reader, The Reader brings people together and books to life in order to make warmer, healthier, stronger communities.

At Shared Reading groups, a trained Reader Leader selects wonderful stories and poems to read aloud together. Everyone is welcome to share how the words make them feel, as well as their thoughts, ideas and memories.

This is open to people aged 18+ and are free to attend.

There is no need to book, just turn up - do come along and try it out, we’d love to meet you!
