What are the things you love most in life?
My family. FOOD.
What did you want to be when you were growing up?
After realising I wouldn’t be a professional footballer... I wanted to be a PE teacher.
What is your earliest memory?
Playing on the beach in Cornwall with my family.
What makes you happy?
Tottenham Hotspur or Conor McGregor winning.
What makes you angry?
Negativity.
What is your guiltiest pleasure?
A Cornish Pasty.
Which play changed your life?
People Places and Things with Denise Gough was sensational… the best performance I have ever seen!
What's exciting you about joining The Company?
Joining this company is incredible, Rep doesn’t exist like it used to and I have never done it before and the fact a regional theatre like the Everyman has decided to do this is fantastic.
What are you looking forward to doing when you're in Liverpool next year?
I love the people of Liverpool... and the pubs!!
What was your first experience of the Everyman?
My first experience of the Everyman was watching Dead Dog in A Suitcase by Kneehigh Theatre... I was lucky that 6 months I was later to be playing Bottom in A Midsummers Night’s Dream directed by Nick Bagnall.
If you could invite anyone for a drink in the bar who would it be and why?
I would have to have Brian Blessed in a bar with me... I'm often compared to him and will play him one day and we would be soooooo loud in a bar together after a few jars!
What's the most valuable lesson you've learned as an actor? Or the best advice received?
The most valuable lesson I have learned as an actor is be bold, brave and to be vulnerable in front of an audience... ohhhh and entertain!
