Our Engagement team have been working on a project linked to The Suitcaseled by Levi Tafari. Working with Hector Peterson Court and the Unity Youth Centre, the project is based around theme A moment that changed my life.
On Monday 2 October, as the Market Theatre arrived in Liverpool, they had an induction at the Playhouse and then went straight out to meet the participants of the project. At Hector Peterson Court the elders, young people, actors and director shared stories and food. Hector Peterson Court offers supported, sheltered and retirement housing or older people in Toxteth, run by the Steve Biko Housing Association.
