Alex Smith
Band, Paint Your Wagon

Alex trained at The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) and graduated in 2010. As well as working as a musical director Alex is a trumpet player with British military band; The Band of The Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment. The band performs music at many high profile ceremonial military events in the North West and represents the UK on tours across the world.

Previous work for Everyman & Playhouse: Fiddler on the Roof (Everyman Company 2017 season) and The Star (Playhouse).

Theatre credits include: Shout! The Mod Musical, Pharaoh ‘Cross the Mersey, Mam I’m ‘Ere, Scouse of the Antarctic, A Hitchhikers guide to Fazakerley (Royal Court, Liverpool); Our Day Out (Oldham Coliseum); Betty Blue Eyes (UK tour); West Side Story (Liverpool Empire); Mam I’m ‘Ere (The Dome, Liverpool) and Sweet Charity and A Chorus Line (LIPA).
