Come see the best of the North West compete for the title of Lovely Word’s SLAM CHAMPION 2023, and enjoy an evening of immense fresh talent, Spoken Word you’ve never heard and what’s sure to be a belter of an evening….
Join us for an exciting new collaboration between the spoken word poetry nights at both Shakespeare North Playhouse and Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse with A Lovely Word’s Poetry SLAM, 2023. With the champion title, a headline slot at Shakespeare North’s Scratch and a £100 cash prize up for grabs, we’re encouraging poets of ANY level to submit their work for selection by a panel of local Poetry Producers from North West Writing Organisations, for a chance to compete in one of our fabulous, Lovely Poetry SLAM heats on Tuesday 27th June (at Shakespeare North) OR Wednesday 5th July (at the Everyman)
