10 week course, Wednesday evenings from 9 October, 6.45pm – 9pm

This 10 week art course is designed to develop observational and expressive drawing techniques and skills. This course is suitable for beginners or those wishing to explore aspects of their own practise.

1: Mark Making – Using pencil/mixed media to create a wide variety of marks
2: Observation – how we observe the world
3: Synchronizing the hand with the eye
4: Tone and shading
5: Marks into meaning, loosening up
6: Tactile Drawing
7: Inspiration from other artists work
8: Drawing techniques
9: Still life drawing – pencil
10: Still life drawing – mixed media
