Christmas is coming and we can think of no better way to get into the festive spirit than with an evening filled with music, merriment and sparkle. As Jerry Herman said: ‘We Need a Little Christmas’!”
Inspired by the glitzy underground cabaret bars at the heart of New York, musical director George Francis (Fiddler on the Roof, Paint Your Wagon, Amelie, Miracle on 34th Street: The Musical) curates an evening of songs and performance in an Everyman transformed into a beautiful and intimate venue.
Emma Bispham (Everyman Company 2018), Gillian Hardie, Kelly Sweeney and Kenny Thompson, will perform musical numbers and festive favourites, led by George Francis (piano) and musicians Danny Millar (bass) and Vidar Norheim (percussion). Expect songs from the likes of Stephen Sondheim, Billy Joel, Shaina Taub, Joni Mitchell and some Christmas classics too. Whether you dress up or dress down, come along with your bubble for a night of jolly holly delight.
The Everyman as a cabaret space has tables of two and four, plus a sprinkling of upstairs tickets designed with intimate and socially distanced performances in mind.
We’ve missed you and are looking forward to welcoming you back to our theatres this Christmas.
We are taking steps towards re-opening and working hard to ensure the safety of our audiences and our staff, so that everyone can feel confident and have a great time.
