“They say that most crimes are performed by sexually frustrated men on a largely sugar based diet. I eat a lot of MAOMS”.

Eggs* is an upbeat comedy following the lives of two scouse women struggling to cope with the ups and downs of life. Written by Florence Keith Roach and directed by Mary Savage, this female led production focuses on friendship, fertility and freaking out.

Although friends through university, the women are living two very different lives now. The only thing that brings them together are their life struggles, their freak outs and a mutual love for 90’s music.

Eggs shows the two women coming to terms with the littlest and largest horrors in life, from getting nits as an adult to grieving over a lost friend. Tackling relevant society struggles, no topic is taboo for the mismatched friendship. Using dark humour to deal with the complexities of sex, drugs, careers, relationships and everyday problems.

First performed at the Vault Festival in 2016, this superbly funny performance is being brought to Liverpool for one night only to be given a scouse twist. Expect lots of laughs and a few cracks along the way.
