A love story where everything is possible…

When Marianne and Roland meet, everything feels possible. But though there are infinite paths their story could follow, is the ending impossible to escape?

Constellations is a unique and electrifying love story – a mesmerising journey from moment to moment as a relationship tumbles through time. From barbecues and beekeeping to string theory and quantum mechanics, Nick Payne’s daring play is a head-spinning dive into the mysteries of love in a world where choices can always be different, and many potential futures might exist.

Winner of the Evening Standard Theatre Award for Best Play, Constellations has dazzled audiences across the globe since it was first performed in 2012. Now we’re breathing new life into this contemporary classic, capturing its cosmic magic for Liverpool and conjuring its exhilarating multiverse on our extraordinary Everyman stage.
