Catherine Rice is a Liverpool-based actress, comedian, and writer with an extensive career spanning stage, screen, and comedy. She has performed in theatres across the country and is a familiar face in her home city, having appeared at the Royal Court, the Playhouse, and the Epstein Theatre alongside some of Liverpool’s most celebrated performers.

Her work extends beyond acting, with writing credits that include original plays, comedy and a couple of pantomimes for schools, which have delighted young audiences. Catherine’s versatility also shines through in feature film, television, and commercials.

“I first came to the Everyman in the early 70s with a gang of lads from Saint Kevin’s youth club Kirkby, to see a play called “Funny Peculiar” and I’ve felt that way ever since.
