The workshop will draw on the practices of companies such as Frantic Assembly and Rash Dash and guide students through the early stages of devising. Using photographs, poetry, landmarks, newspaper articles and music from the city of Liverpool, the students will produce the beginnings of a devised piece that they can build on and develop.
