Tambo & Bones is a ground-breaking show that explores racism in a way that can be challenging. The performance on Thursday 27 March at 7.30pm is curated for those with lived experience of racism.
Starting with a curtain raiser performance from rising star KOJ at 7.30pm, the performance of Tambo & Bones follows. An exhilarating, funny and provocative satire, Tambo and Bones journey from comedy double-act, to hip-hop superstars, to activists in a future America, contending with the alarming repercussions of a nation torn apart by race. Post show, there will be a safe and supportive space to reflect on a show that will entertain, challenge and provoke.
We encourage non-Black audience members to appreciate its focused intent and consider attending on alternative dates as the event is primarily designed for Black community members, particularly those of African and Caribbean heritage. Nonetheless, all individuals who choose to book for the Thursday evening are welcome, ensuring an open, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere.
