Line Up for November

Therese Cahill
Coming soon to NETFLIX and finally she has an IMDb reference it’s YER WAN FROM “DERRY GIRLS”
Picture it: May 14th, 1973 “Skylab” was launched or as me ma called me…”Therese” …Years later I would become Ireland’s very first female “limp-up” comic, but enough of my lame gags!
Therese almost became TikTok famous- until she got banned! She also has a FIRST CLASS HONORS BA….but it’s in Drama like!!!!!

Shortlisted for “Ireland’s Got Talent 2018”, she has performed all over Ireland and The UK, toured with “The Farmer Micheal and Kathleen” show and is regular voice on Dublin’s Q102 as well as Eastcoast FM. She also a frequent features writer for The Beacon online.

Steph Leese
I have forayed into comedy on a rare night in Allerton, in front of customers, in the shower, and most horrifically of all to my husband, on social occasions which maybe shouldn't have been funny!
I am a plasterer in Merseyside who has a habit of losing cats behind walls, forgetting to charge VAT because all politicians are fecking shit at spending it, and flirts outrageously for a £2.50 tip.

Katie Jarman
Katie Jarman is a queer comedian, writer and poet. Originally from Wales they’ve made their home in Liverpool and their tales of sex and identity will make you laugh, think and (maybe) fall in love. They have been described as 'one of the best non-binary poets in the North' and their current show about sex education as 'blush-inducing, life-affirming and mega saucy'.

Helen White
North east based female comedian who has just won the north east heat of British Comedian of the Year, and now in the semi finals at the end of November. I have been named by Felt Nowt in Newcastle as one to watch in 2024. I was one of 10 finalists on Diego’s new act of the year in Sunderland.

“Helen White is both bolshy and funny with her neat observational comedy and well-crafted gags … a pocket rocket of an act “- Shoe Cake Comedy

“Helens takes on marriage, ageing and Northern living had us cracking up; her punchlines managed to be somehow relatable and wholly surprising at the same time”. - Yorkshire Coast gigs

Kimberley Maberly
Kimberly Maberly, brand new comedian making some waves and hoping for some splashback with her potty mouth and twisted word play. Self-deprecating and endearing, you don’t know if you want to be smothered or mothered by her but certainly you want to watch what comes out of her mouth next. She’s new but certainly no virgin.

Bas Rahman
Bas is an incredible talent, with a cheeky and dark style of comedy mixed in with very well crafted routines that cover everything from her Muslim heritage, race, sex - anything that is taboo in her life, Bas will find the funny in. Bas has written with Mawaan Rizwan, for Never Mind The Buzzcocks, been part of the BBC Writers Room as well as being part of the ERA:5050 which was an all female writers room set up by Polly Kemp & Lizzie Berrington

She has recently supported Carl Hutchinson on tour and done a run of gigs aboard a Virgin Cruise Ship

Amy Williams
Amy is a Liverpool based poet and spoken word artist who first began writing with a babe in arms February 2023. Since then, she’s been writing about motherhood, childhood and any other threads she may pull on. As well as performing bedtime gymnastics to allow her to appear regularly at poetry events across the UK, Amy is an advocate for online spoken word so that it may be accessible to all and has had her work featured by perinatal mental health charities such as PANDAS.
