A group of Young Adult carers meets at the Everyman for a variety of activities and wellbeing sessions and also attend shows.

Barnardo’s Action with Young Carers is commissioned to ensure that young carers and young adult carers up to the age of 25 are identified and can receive a carer’s assessment under the statutory duty of Liverpool City Council.

Young carers will have the opportunity to receive 1-1 support, participate in breaks from caring, attend group activities, take part in personal development opportunities and safety planning for the person they care for.

Referrals to the service can be made directly by children, young people and family members or by professionals who support them.
