Our theatres have a combined history of over 200 years, and today are run together as a charitable trust.

Our Charitable Objectives
- To advance, encourage, promote and improve the cultural and artistic education of the general public by producing quality theatrical productions, including the arts of drama, mime, dancing, singing and music; and
- Within such objects make particular provision for the educational, community and training programmes for the benefit of the people of Merseyside and the nation at large; and
- To preserve, protect, develop and improve for the benefit of the general public the Playhouse Theatre, Liverpool being a building of historic interest, provided that all objects of the trust shall be of a charitable nature
